Descriere

nWhat can happen when you run away from God's calling? This book, As for Me and My Outhouse, We Will Serve the Lord, takes the reader on an intriguing and sometimes hysterical ministry journey to learn the answer to this question. Filled with miracles and drama, such as being held at gunpoint, fire, and experiencing a host of calamities, the optimism and humor of the characters will have you standing up and cheering for them. Defrauded almost the full value on their new home, see how God developed their faith and patience with His help. Laugh and cry when you learn their reaction at being sold a home that never had a septic tank even when they paid for an inspection before the purchase. Gasp at the near drowning of a baptismal candidate or hold your breath at the split-second decision of possibly having to drive off a cliff. This book will give you fresh eyes at seeing God like you've never seen Him before. John and Le Anne Baker have been married thirty-seven years and have served in the pastoral ministry for more than twenty years in New Hampshire, Kentucky, and Tennessee.
