Descriere

Betargin is a food supplement in the form of liquid sachets that dissolve in water. It is intended for adults to supplement the normal diet with betaine and arginine. What properties do betaine and arginine have? Betaine is a vitamin-like substance belonging to amino acids, a derivative of the amino acid glycine (also known as trimethylglycine). Betaine contributes to maintaining a proper metabolism of homocysteine. Arginine is an endogenous amino acid (synthesized in the human body), called a relatively exogenous amino acid. This means that, under normal conditions, its average daily requirement is sufficiently satisfied by synthesis in the body. However, in conditions of stress, illness or increased physical effort, its level may be insufficient. This compound can be supplied to the body in food as part of a properly balanced diet. Extremely valuable sources of arginine are: meat, pumpkin and sunflower seeds, seafood, whole grain products, nuts, lentils, spinach. Betargin can also be a great way to provide the body with arginine.
