The Can’t Stop Loving You eau de parfum by By Kilian is an oriental vanilla fragrance for women, created by perfumer Alberto Morillas and launched in 2023. It opens with orange blossom, together with Paradisone – an airy jasmine combination evoking a pure paradise. The heart of the composition is incredibly soft, with honey from Provence for a delicious French touch. Madagascar vanilla adds a double gourmand stimulus, while oakmoss notes bring earthy intensity, and frankincense extract from Somalia imparts sensuality, volume, and endless mystery. By Kilian is a luxury perfume brand from Paris, founded by Kilian Hennessy – grandson of the founder of the LVMH group (the H in LVMH stands for Hennessy, the famous cognac-producing family). He spent his childhood among the family’s wineries in Cognac. After completing a program in communications and linguistic studies, where he wrote a thesis on the semantics of scents in the search for a common language between gods and mortals, Kilian continued to study with some of the greatest noses in perfumery, refining his craft and creating perfumes for some of the best fashion brands in the industry. In 2007, he launched his own perfume house, in line with the family’s long tradition of producing luxury goods. The brand emphasizes ecology and sustainability through the use of refillable packaging.
