He spent his childhood among the family vineyards in Cognac. After completing a program in communications and linguistic studies, where he wrote a thesis on the semantics of scents in the search for a common language between gods and mortals, Kilian continued to study with some of the greatest noses in perfumery, honing his craft and creating perfumes for some of the best fashion brands in the industry.
