The Smoking Hot Eau de Parfum by By Kilian is an oriental spicy fragrance for women and men, created by perfumer Mathieu Nardin and launched in 2023. It offers a blend of sweetness and smoke, reminiscent of delightful caramel. With a contemporary take on the smoky essence, this creation not only redefines the genre for modern sensibility but also encapsulates an element of burning allure. By Kilian is a luxury perfume brand from Paris, founded by Kilian Hennessy - grandson of the founder of the LVMH group (the H in LVMH stands for Hennessy, the famous cognac-producing family). He spent his childhood among the family vineyards in Cognac. After completing a program in communications and linguistic studies, where he wrote a thesis on the semantics of scents in the search for a common language between gods and mortals, Kilian continued to study with some of the greatest noses in perfumery, refining his craft and creating perfumes for some of the best fashion brands in the industry. In 2007, he launched his own perfume house, in line with the family's long tradition of producing luxury goods. The brand emphasizes ecology and sustainability through the use of reusable packaging.
