The Dy'on Working Collection bridle is a snaffle bridle in naturally tanned buffalo leather, with a combined noseband and a removable 13 mm flash strap. Buffalo leather has a firmer and slightly coarser structure than fine calfskin and can therefore cope well with intensive use, sweat and changeable weather. It asks for some breaking in at first, but then becomes supple without going slack. The headpiece is anatomically shaped and softly padded. That shape leaves the ears free and spreads the weight of the bridle over a broader area behind the ears, so it sits more quietly on the poll than a straight-cut headpiece. The throatlash closes with a clip fastening, which makes bridling and unbridling quick, even with gloves on. The noseband is a combined noseband: a 13 mm wide flash strap runs under the bit. That flash strap is removable. If you prefer to ride with the noseband only, you take it off and are left with a classic bridle. The noseband itself is slightly raised in a square shape and softly padded, so that it lies wide and flat on the nasal bone. A cream-coloured decorative stitch runs across the browband and the noseband. It is the only decorative accent on an otherwise plain bridle, and it picks out the line of the leather against the brown.
