Hamilton-Lee, Ann: - Ann Hamilton is a British Born Chinese children's author and independent publisher, and the creator of Mooliprint, a bilingual children's book imprint.Since becoming a mother, Ann has been passionate about creating stories that help families introduce and preserve languages at home. As a Hakka speaker, she understands first-hand how easily heritage languages can be lost within a generation, and she began publishing bilingual children's books in 2017 after struggling to find gentle, engaging language resources beyond tablets and screens.Alongside her work as an optometrist, Ann creates thoughtful bilingual books designed to support families, including non-native speakers, who want to make language learning part of everyday life. Her books are created in collaboration with artists, translators and voice-over artists, with a focus on care, creativity and genuine purpose.Through Mooliprint, Ann remains committed to producing carefully made stories that help children and families connect with language, culture and storytelling.
