<b><i>herpes</i></b> Complementary feeds for cats The product is indicated for supplementing the diet with Lactoferrin and Lysine in cats subject to infectious pressure (such as carriers of Herpes Virus and Calici Virus) at the first appearance of symptoms and during periods of their relapse. Lactoferrin is a natural protein that mammals ingest at birth through colostrum and breast milk and is physiologically present in all body fluids (tears, saliva, bile, urine, blood, semen, cervical mucus), wherever immediate, non-specific defense against the penetration of infectious agents from outside is required. Lactoferrin is a component of bovine milk, from which it can be isolated through special purification techniques. The product contains a specific fraction of milk proteins, especially rich in lactoferrin. Lysine is associated with this, the nutritional supplementation of which in adequate quantities contributes to supporting and maintaining the ability of animals to react to difficulties arising from possible infections. <b>components</b> <u>1 ml of Herp provides:</u> • Lactoferrin: 60 mg • Lysine hydrochloride: 250 mg (equivalent to 200 mg of lysine base). <b>How to use</b> <u>For oral administration</u> Administer 1 ml for every 2 kg of your cat's weight twice a day for the first 7 days, then halve the amount (1 ml for every 4 kg of your cat's weight twice a day). Depending on the packaging, use the graduated pipette (50 ml packaging) or graduated syringe (120 ml packaging) provided or, alternatively, note that: • 1 teaspoon corresponds to approximately 2 ml; • 1 teaspoon corresponds to approximately 3 ml. The established amount is administered, possibly divided into two different times of the day, directly into the mouth or mixed with a small amount of appreciated food. Herp should be administered at the first signs of symptoms and until they disappear. In the case of chronic pathological manifestations, the product should be administered continuously or in cycles, at the discretion of the veterinarian. <b>Format</b> 50 ml
