The HFI Comfort Bridle is a bridle with an anatomically shaped, softly padded headpiece and a padded noseband. It is intended for riders who train daily and who look above all at fit and wearing comfort. The bridle is available in brown and black, in sizes Cob and Full, and suits work at home as much as the competition arena. A wider, padded headpiece lays the weight of the bridle across a larger surface instead of on a narrow strip behind the ears. That is exactly what the name Comfort refers to. The noseband too has a soft lining. A padded noseband lies flatter on the nose and spreads the tension more evenly than a narrow, unlined strap. Together with the adjustable buckles you can tune the bridle precisely to the shape of the head: not every horse has the same amount of room between cheekbone and nasal bone, and those differences are taken up in the fitting. The leather is supple and lined on the inside with a soft layer. The advantage of supple leather is that the bridle is comfortable to wear from the start and folds readily to the head. With regular care the leather stays supple and lasts for years. The finish is deliberately quiet. No crystals, no contrasting colours, but a neat finish that in classic brown and classic black looks as good with a training outfit as with competition clothing. So you do not need to set out a separate bridle for a competition day. The bridle is supplied in sizes Cob and Full, in brown and black. Reins are not part of the delivery. That way you decide for yourself whether you ride with leather reins, rubber reins or reins with stops, depending on your hand and the discipline you work in.
