For relief from dryness, irritation and minor irritations Dry, irritated eyes are often caused by reduced or impaired tear production, which moisturizes the eye's surface and flushes out foreign bodies. Common causes of dry eyes include prolonged computer work and wearing contact lenses. External factors such as dry indoor air and air pollutants can also impair tear film production. Eye drops containing hyaluronic acid have proven effective as tear substitutes. HYLO-VISION® HD Plus also contains allantoin and is very well suited for providing soothing relief from dryness, irritation, and minor eye discomfort. The low-viscosity solution is well-tolerated and spreads easily across the eye's surface. HYLO-VISION® HD Plus eye drops are also suitable for wetting hard and soft contact lenses. Supports cell regeneration with hyaluronic acid and allantoin HYLO-VISION® HD Plus provides improved and long-lasting lubrication of the ocular surface. The eye drops contain 0.2% hyaluronic acid, a natural substance also found in the tear film, making it particularly well-tolerated. Hyaluronic acid is characterized by its high water-binding capacity. Thanks to its mucoadhesive properties, it adheres well to the ocular surface. HYLO-VISION® HD Plus thus moisturizes and protects the surface of the eyes, ensuring a smooth, stable, and long-lasting film of moisture. The "Plus" in the lubricating solution comes from allantoin. This plant-based active ingredient, derived from plants such as comfrey, has a soothing and nourishing effect. In combination with hyaluronic acid, it helps retain moisture. As a beneficial moisturizer, HYLO-VISION® HD Plus eye drops support cell regeneration. CONTACT LENSES Contact lens wearers often suffer from dry, irritated eyes. Contact lenses disrupt the tear film, causing the tear fluid to evaporate more quickly from the eye's surface. This dries out the eye's surface, leading to insufficient oxygen supply and potential damage. HYLO-VISION® HD Plus, with hyaluronic acid and allantoin, is suitable for moisturizing the eye's surface. These eye drops can also be used while wearing contact lenses and significantly improve comfort. SCREEN WORK People who frequently work on computers or use their mobile phones and tablets intensively in their free time are more likely to suffer from dry, irritated, and tired eyes. The reason: When concentrating on the screen, you blink less often, and this reduced blink rate means the eye's surface is less moistened with tear fluid. TIP: If you work at a screen for a long time, briefly look away from the monitor every ten minutes and look into the distance. Consciously blink a few times to moisten your eyes with tear fluid. EXTERNAL INFLUENCES Low humidity due to dry air from heating systems in winter or ventilation from air conditioning are among the typical triggers of dry eyes. Drafts and tobacco smoke, as well as high ozone concentrations and other air pollutants, can also impair tear film production. TIP: Ventilate regularly if you frequently spend time in air-conditioned or heavily heated rooms. When you're out and about, it's advisable to keep moisturizing eye drops like HYLO-VISION® HD Plus on hand to relieve dryness and irritation.
