The active ingredient Icaridin "Makes people virtually invisible to mosquitoes" Icaridin is a WHO-recommended active ingredient for protecting the skin from bites by mosquitoes (mosquito repellent spray), biting flies, and ticks. Spraying the repellent onto the skin prevents mosquitoes and tiger mosquitoes from detecting human scents, thus deterring them from landing and biting. The active ingredient has a pleasant odor and, at concentrations above 20%, is as effective as DEET. Lemon eucalyptus oil Lemon eucalyptus oil is traditionally used to repel insects and is an alternative for people who prefer plant-based products.
