Descriere

Uncommon. Accompaniment to an exhibition held at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, from December 11, 1999 to March 5, 2000. "The exhibition [...] breaks new ground in defining as a primary interest of architects today a fascination with the possibilities of new materials and technologies. Guest curator Cynthia Davidson has brought substantial insights to bear in her curatorial choices as well as her analysis of this phenomenon, which preoccupies an international spectrum of architects. Her work enriches and enlarges the scope of understanding of current directions within Chicago's contemporary architectural panorama." --Foreword by Robert Fitzpatrick, director of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago.
