Descriere

Westland Lysander Mk.I/Mk.III by Airfix is a 1:48 scale assembly model of a British army aircraft from World War II. Originally designed for army cooperation tasks, including tactical reconnaissance, observation, and artillery fire correction, this aircraft is distinguished by exceptional short takeoff and landing capabilities. Despite heavy losses suffered during the 1939 French campaign due to its low speed and difficult defense against Luftwaffe fighters, the aircraft later played an important role in patrolling the coastal areas of England, conducting rescue operations in the English Channel and North Sea, as well as in secret missions transporting Allied agents into enemy-occupied Europe. Features:

Scale: 1:48;

Number of parts: 171;

Difficulty level: 3;

Material: plastic;

Model length: 19.2 cm;

Model height: 8.5 cm;

Wingspan: 31.6 cm;

Era: World War II (1939-1945);

Options to choose between Mk.I and Mk.III versions;

Options for open or closed cockpit canopy;

Detailed reproduction of the internal fuselage frame structure;

Wings can be assembled with open or closed leading-edge slats and lowered flaps;

Landing gear with choice between covered or exposed wheels;

Additional bomb holders and full bomb load;

Number of color scheme options: 2.
