Oh Dear, Look What I Got!

Descriere

Structured around a repeated pattern, the text develops a cumulative storyline as a child narrator sets out to buy a series of products, but each time receives a package containing an animal instead. The story unfolds through a series of absurd surprises; until it takes an unexpected twist at the end. Interactive elements are cleverly incorporated, including a guessing game where readers predict which animal is in each package, using rhyming word clues and visual hints in the illustrations. In addition, the catchy repeated refrain, Oh Dear, Look what I got! Do I want that? No I do NOT! makes it easy for pre-readers to join in and recite along with the reader.
