Descriere

On Postmodernism in lnternational Relations (1) Poststructuralist Considerations on Theory, Language, and Discourse n ln On Postmodernism in International Relations (1): Poststructuralist Considerations on Theory, Language, and Discourse, Luiza-Maria Filimon was able to devetop a painstaking analysis of the process of theory-making in International Relations, using the poststructuratist theory as the canvas on which to pursue this research endeavor. The theory acts, therefore, as both the backdrop and the centerpiece of a research framework that provides a mirror for the academic history of International Relations, assessing how the field evolved into an institutionalized science, and why the theoretical diversity associated with it, is a defining feature that differentiates it from other sociat sciences, reluctant to sidestep their orthodox conventions. - lordan Gheorghe Barbulescu
