Descriere

nVala Boddason was an awkwardly average seventeen-year-old girl from a small town in Oregon. She spent nights escaping her loathsome foster home with her equally ordinary-albeit stunning-best friend, Helene.n nn nOn one of their nightly excursions, the girls gazed into the night sky while laughing about boys and high school drama. Vala fell into a deep, hazy sleep, dreaming of darkness and destiny.n nn nUpon waking, her entire life changed.n nn nVala was thrust into a world she thought only existed in her departed father's Norse mythology textbooks. Little did she know, she was born into a long line of Norse seeresses and skalds, chosen by the gods due to her parent's combined lineage.n nn nWith the help of Heimdall, her sworn protector and watchman of the Bifröst, Vala set off for the Yggdrasil to traverse the nine realms to find her place and purpose among the gods and monsters.n nn nCould she master the art of her Skaldic and Seiðr magic to rewrite the prophecies and save the realms from Ragnarök? Or would the conniving Loki, god of trickery, stand in the way of her destiny, leading to the doomed end of life as they knew it?n nn nDive into part one of an epic Norse fantasy saga and immerse yourself from the depths of Helheim to the loftiest land of Asgard.n nn
