nThe Parent Hope manualized program is a research-based clinical intervention for parents and carers of a struggling child. It is a six-session manual with an introduction and review session. It is designed to be used with a trained clinician/coach. It provides a map for parents to discover ways they can change their part in dynamics to support their young person's development of self-regulation, balanced relationship connection, and independence. It engages parents to address their own self-regulation, to support their struggling children.n n nn nAuthor: n nDr Jenny Brown has decades of clinical experience in child, couple, and family health. Her primary clinical and research interest has been in child and adolescent mental health and parent's involvement in treatment. This has been reflected in her publications, conference and workshop presentations and her PhD research on parents' experience of their child's mental health treatment. The Parent Hope Project Manual and resources have been developed from her experience, research, and Bowen family systems theory.n n nn n nn n nn
