PHYSIOGEL® Calming Relief AI – Soothing care for irritated, inflamed and eczema-prone skin The skin is not only the largest organ in the human body, but also a crucial protective barrier against external influences. Especially for irritated, dry, or irritation-prone skin, targeted care is essential to strengthen the skin's natural barrier and noticeably alleviate discomfort such as dryness, itching, or redness. Equally important is gentle, moisturizing cleansing that doesn't further dry out the skin and respects its barrier function. This is precisely where the PHYSIOGEL® Calming Relief AI skincare line comes in – with dermatologically developed cleansing and care products specifically designed for the needs of irritated, itchy skin. PHYSIOGEL® Calming Relief AI skincare products offer soothing care based on BioMimetic Technology. The formulations mimic the lamellar structure – the layered arrangement of lipids (fats) – of the outermost layer of healthy skin. This strengthens the skin's natural barrier, resulting in increased resilience, hydration, and a pleasant skin feel. PHYSIOGEL® Calming Relief AI shower and bath oil, which replenishes eczema-prone, irritated skin, provides a gentle cleansing that immediately soothes and nourishes the skin – with 100% natural oils. The ingredient palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) contained in the products of the line has an anti-itch, pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effect, thus helping to reduce itching and redness – it is included in the nourishing creams and lotions as well as in the shower and bath oil. Whether as daily cleansing and basic care for neurodermatitis, in acute phases of increased skin sensitivity or as supportive use for irritated, dry skin as a result of environmental stress or medical treatment: The products of the PHYSIOGEL® Calming Relief AI care series offer a gentle yet effective solution to restore the skin's balance and strengthen personal well-being. PHYSIOGEL® Calming Relief AI Cream was specially developed for the daily care of irritated and sensitive skin. With palmitoylethanolamide (PEA), skin-compatible lipids, glycerin, and squalane, it helps reduce dryness and itching and promotes a soothed feeling – ideal also for skin prone to atopic dermatitis. Many sufferers, especially babies and children, find the itching associated with atopic dermatitis particularly distressing in the evenings and at night. PHYSIOGEL® Calming Relief AI Cream, with its skin-soothing formula, can help break this vicious cycle of itching by relieving the itch – for greater well-being and restful nights. BioMimetic Technology is based on the lamellar structure of the lipids in the healthy outermost layer of skin and supports the maintenance of the skin's natural protective barrier. The formula is free of fragrances and dyes, dermatologically tested, and suitable as a daily basic skincare product – even during periods without flare-ups.
