When progress begins to disrupt the relationships between different tribes, Lana and her loyal companion Mui embark on a new journey to uncover long-buried truths about their world – and about themselves. Explore impressive locations including frozen peaks, deep oceans, and forgotten ruins, each telling a piece of the larger story. The world comes alive through the series’ distinctive art style and an emotional orchestral soundtrack, which together create a strong cinematic experience. The narrative unfolds without traditional spoken dialogue. Instead, the story is conveyed through an unknown language, music, visual details, and the way you interact with the environment. This encourages players to observe, interpret, and discover the meaning behind events and the connections between characters on their own. In this adventure, Lana is older and significantly more agile. New movement abilities, including wall jumps and more dynamic traversal, make the platforming sections smoother and more varied. Along the way, you will need to overcome numerous environmental puzzles that require keen observation, precise timing, and proper use of both characters’ abilities. The bond between Lana and Mui remains at the heart of the gameplay. Their cooperation is key both to solving puzzles and overcoming various dangers. Each new challenge highlights the interaction between the two and the trust they have built during their adventures. The story gradually reveals more about Mui’s origins while exploring themes such as the interconnectedness of living beings, resilience in the face of adversity, coexistence, and the cost of technological progress. The adventure is carefully structured with an approximate duration of 6 to 8 hours, maintaining a balanced pace between exploration, puzzles, platforming, and story moments. Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf is designed as a standalone experience, accessible to players who have not played the first part. However, for returning fans, the sequel offers a deeper and more emotional look at the world, Lana, and Mui. With its hand-painted visuals, atmospheric soundtrack, intelligent puzzles, and strong visual storytelling, Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf offers a beautiful and impactful adventure about the relationship between nature, technology, and the beings who must find a way to coexist.
