Sex Lives Of The Kings & Queens Of England

Descriere

The headlines of Royal infidelity and divorce that are the bread and butter of today's tabloid press are nothing new. People have always been captivated by the sexual behaviour of Royalty, and as author Nigel Cawthorne reveals, there has been plenty of it. Historically this fascination has not been merely prurient - Royal marriages, adultery and splits have all had enormous political repercussions. In humorous style, Cawthorne chronicles the ongoing sexual farce across the centuries from Hal the Horny (Henry VIII) via Edward the Caresser (Edward VII) to the present day antics of Prince Charles who, unlike his predecessors, chose a mistress who was far less attractive than his official partner.
