Sheet Metal Fab Basics - Timothy S. Remus

Descriere

nSheet Metal Fabrication Basics is designed to provide how-to help for fabricators working at home and in small shops. Whether the goal is a hand-made air dam or a one-off air cleaner cover, the project can be done without expensive power tools. This book was created with the help of fabricators like Rob Roehl, tin-man for bike-builder Donnie Smith, as well as Bruce Terry and Ron Covell. Projects include the creation of simple shapes made with hammer and dolly, hand-operated shrinker-stretcher, English wheel, and various mallets. Some objects are made from more than one piece, thus the book also includes a section on welding both aluminum and steel, with gas and TIG. You can learn to fabricate sheet metal. All you need is the raw material, the sincere desire to learn and a copy of this new Sheet Metal Fabrication Basics book from Wolfgang Publications. 144 pages long, and over 400 B&W images.
