Thealoz ® Duo Gel liquid eye gel is a medical device for the surface of the eye to prevent irritation of the eyeball, as well as to protect its surface and to support the maintenance of the appropriate level of eye hydration. Thealoz Duo Gel, a liquid gel, does not contain preservatives or phosphates and is packaged in 30 single-dose containers (minimum) of 0.4 g of product each. The preparation can be used for both moderate and severe dry eye symptoms, such as ocular discomfort, burning or irritation. These symptoms can be caused by external factors such as: wind, smoke, dust, sunny weather, dry air, air conditioning or long-term work in front of a computer monitor. <b>Thealoz ® Duo Gel, liquid eye gel - active ingredients</b> Thealoz ® Duo Gel, a liquid gel, contains a combination of three active ingredients: trehalose, sodium hyaluronate and carbomer in concentrations of 3%, 0.15% and 0.25%, respectively. Thanks to this, it perfectly moisturizes and regulates tissue hydration, as well as provides protection of the eye surface and maximum comfort for a long period of time. It brings the desired relief from dry eye syndrome. The properties of trehalose provide its protective, antioxidant and tissue hydration enhancing properties. Trehalose also supports the stabilization of cell membranes. Sodium hyaluronate is a compound that is naturally found in the structures of the human eye. It retains water and improves tissue hydration and eye surface hydration. The addition of carbomer allows Thealoz ® Duo Gel to remain on the eye surface for longer, thus providing relief from the unwanted symptoms of dry eyes. Like other eye preparations, Thealoz ® Duo Gel is sterile and does not contain preservatives. The hypotonic liquid gel, with a neutral pH level (i.e. the same as the eye surface), promotes long-lasting hydration of the eye surface. The advantage of the Thealoz ® Duo Gel medical device is its packaging - disposable mini-drops, which minimizes the risk of contamination of the preparation during use. The formula is suitable for use on the eye surface day and night. The product can be used by adults, including pregnant or lactating women, and children.
