Descriere

The Zandona Superior Chafe Guard Evo is an elastic chafe guard that attaches to the girth with 4 loops and to the saddle with a fixing system. It covers the girth area, where your legs meet the horse, and protects it against rubbing. With ventilation lines, a reinforced area at the foot and a choice of black or brown, it is the most complete Zandona model at Maddelin. About this chafe guard A chafe guard is a wide elastic band that sits around your horse's belly, where the girth goes. Zandona describes the Superior Chafe Guard Evo as a protective band against rubbing from the rider's legs and spurs. The brand designed it for cross country, dressage and showjumping, and makes it in Italy. The band is made from a high-quality elastic fabric with high breathability, running with special ventilation lines. Where your foot meets the horse, the fabric is reinforced. The Superior stays in place in three ways. The 4 loops, 2 on each side, slide over the girth. The saddle plug system connects the guard to the saddle. And a strap fastening closes it around the belly. According to Zandona, it is compatible with any type of girth. The band is 26 cm wide and weighs 0.70 kg. Compared with the Zandona Basic Chafe Guard, the Superior is longer in every size and has the ventilation lines, the reinforced foot area and the saddle attachment that the Basic lacks. It also comes in black and in brown, so you can match it to your saddle and girth.
