Descriere

For aesthetes who have been damaged in mathematics lessons, it is not a dream subject, even if they are presented as shadow plays with acrylic glass, are integrated into sensitively differentiated compositions, and as scripturally revised computer prints recede into the background. This is exactly the approach of the artist Reinhard Hanke (born in 1951): from the salary slip to the mathematical formula in technical development, they determine our lives, every day. A transposed number has unforeseen consequences.
